Planner at Lanner Electronics USA Inc – Union City, California

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive monthly and quarterly Sales consensus on demand forecast and build plan.
• Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to simulate the revenue projection (bookings, customer lead times, historical sales, sales forecast).
• Create targeted forecasting techniques for various key customer.
• Review and improve forecast accuracy and bias metrics. Drive root cause/corrective actions to improve performance.
• Formulate safety stock levels for production and service support to balance the supply chain delivery and inventory goals.
• Own customer on-time delivery metric and analyze root cause/corrective actions to achieve target goals.
• Demonstrate a collaborative approach while working with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in supply and demand assumptions.
• Sync up with Sales on demand change and supervise pull-in/push-out of scheduled deliveries to avoid shortage and overstock situations.
• Audit data while challenging and resolving data integrity issues.
• Perform what-if analysis and mitigation plans for supply chain or manufacturing risks.
• Monitor build plan and inventory levels at the manufacturing site and fulfillment warehouse.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related industry experience in Production and MRP.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, supply planning, and supply chain management.
• Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Strong reporting and analytical abilities, detail-oriented.
• BS/BA in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Operations.
• Must be able to effectively interact with all functional areas, at all levels, both verbally and in writing, particularly with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Warehouse, Accounting, and Sales Ops.
