Responsibilities
- Full-stack implementation: Own end to end development of core products as both individual contributor and team leader. Build out our 'borrower' ecosystem suite of tools. Maintain high-quality, scalable, and reusable codebases for user-facing applications
- Evolve technical architecture: Make foundational decisions on system design, data modeling, API architecture, and third-party integrations (banking, stablecoin rails, on-chain data) to support a scalable, secure lending platform.
- Drive company-wide AI strategy: Identify and execute opportunities to integrate AI across our product suite, operations, and customer interactions. Own the roadmap for AI features and capabilities, including productization of deal underwriting process.
- Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using tools like React, Typescript, Next.js, etc.
- Collaborate with and lead designers and backend engineers to implement new features and integrations.
- Shape and own product roadmap: Partner with founders to translate protocol capabilities and business objectives into a prioritized engineering roadmap — balancing near-term borrower experience improvements against longer-term infrastructure investments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with modern AI/ML frameworks and applied tools.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills with experience in our tech stack (React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js) or similar modern web frameworks.
- High-agency, self-directed operator comfortable working in early-stage environments. You identify problems, propose solutions, and drive them to completion with minimal oversight.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Nice to have: Experience with Web3 frontend stack (Wagmi/Viem, smart contract interaction), crypto/DeFi, or financial services. Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic systems.
What We Offer
- Base salary ($250k+) competitive with crypto or finance startups
- Long-term token and equity incentive package.
- Unlimited PTO.
- Transparent, impact-driven culture that rewards results over politics.
- Support for professional development and clear growth paths as we scale.
