North Star Fishing Company is hiring an Assistant Cook to work aboard the F/T North Star, an at-sea processing vessel that fishes off the Coast of Alaska. Assistant Cooks are responsible for preparing family style meals and baking for crew on the vessel. Managing the cleanliness and maintenance of the ship accommodations daily and as required.

Crew paid a share of the catch each fishing trip. Average crew share per trip is $5,500 - $7,000 depending on the value of the catch. Each fishing trip averages 12-18 days and can be more or less dependent on fishing conditions.
