Warehouse Teammate (Tarboro) at World Cat – Tarboro, North Carolina

Mission: Reduce the opportunity for Red Pick Parts by maintaining order of warehouse and inventory accuracy through assurance that all process are being followed by all warehouse associates.

Qualifications:

• Min. 2 years of experience in warehousing; inventory management
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer skills

Primary responsibilities and duties:

• Print RED PICKS list daily and familiarize with RED PICKS due each day
• Audit RED PICKS at end of day to assure they were checked done if received
• Print the next day’s engines for hanging daily
• Print the next day’s kit sheets for picking daily
• Verify completion from production floor, investigate issues and variances, route to Inventory Control or Shipping and receiving for processing for Blue Sheets daily
• Audit Blue sheet process completion weekly
• Complete daily cycle counts for assigned areas
• Investigate final count variances for all direct materials areas with Inventory Control
• Reconcile Standard Part Usage and Variance-Picked Parts Weekly with Inventory Control Associate
• Verify and investigate Red Picks for daily picks
• Review and update reconcile report daily
• Audit location changes
• Reconcile Quality Defects Report Weekly
• Train new hires and re-train existing warehouse associates as needed.
• Ensure that all warehouse procedures are being followed
• Ensure adherence to attendance policy.
• Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures and ensure adherence by all warehouse associates.

Other responsibilities and duties:

• Enter part non-conformances on spreadsheet
• Coordinate transport of engines and windshields to and from Kanban
• Conduct inventory/material flow studies to determine root causes of variances
• Perform and back-fill all duties performed by warehouse associates as needed
• Crosstrain with Shipping & Receiving Associate and Inventory Control Associate
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Audit kit picks as assigned daily
