Counter Sales Representative - HVAC Equipment and Parts

Fox Appliance Parts is seeking a qualified Counter Sales Representative to offer excellent customer service, gain and share product knowledge, and provide an efficient and positive customer experience. Responsibilities

• Service in-store and telephone customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Provide counter sales support for appliance parts and HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies
• Determine correct replacement parts and HVAC components using model numbers, schematics, and technical documentation
• Generate quotes and process sales for HVAC equipment, and related accessories
• Use computer systems and catalog lookups to determine stock numbers, availability, and pricing
• Advise customers of substitutions, updated parts, or changes in equipment specifications
• Examine the condition of returned parts and determine eligibility for exchange or refund
• Maintain, monitor, clean, and stock inventory, merchandise displays, and workspace
• Accurately and efficiently enter sales orders into the computer system
• Process end-of-day cash reporting and reconciliation
• Manage shipments and coordinate delivery of goods and services

Requirements

• Previous experience in HVAC equipment and parts sales strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and accessories
• Ability to read and interpret model numbers, parts diagrams, and technical documentation
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, reach, sit, and walk
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer-service focus
• Above-average organizational skills
• Ability to satisfy customer demand quickly and accurately
• Ability to follow directions of immediate supervisor and management
