POSITION SUMMARY
This position will support both production equipment and facility infrastructure in a precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations across the plant. This role supports production uptime by ensuring all electrical components, machinery, and control systems operate safely and efficiently in a high-performance environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in CNC machines, extrusion equipment, and other manufacturing systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and electromechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Maintain and repair facility electrical systems, including lighting, panels, transformers, and power distribution.
- Perform basic electrical device parameter setup, such as setting up new drives or meters and programming the parameters.
- Troubleshooting to determine root cause of machine, electrical and control system or process failure. Identify and replace defective electrical components. Read error and fault codes.
- Inspect and maintain electrical panels, breakers, and disconnects to ensure code compliance.
- Support facility upgrades, expansions, and layout changes (conduit, wiring, new circuits).
- Identify and correct electrical hazards and ensure compliance with NEC and OSHA standards.
- Coordinate with contractors for facility-related electrical work.
- Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, and system changes.
- Determine new machine installation electrical requirements.
- May monitor and assist vendors and contractors performing maintenance on site.
- Perform routine tasks such as painting, wall repair, plumbing, and light electrical.
- Maintain clean and orderly work environment.
- Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand, and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals, and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- Seven (7) years industrial electrical and maintenance experience or equivalent of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of industrial electronics, electrical systems and control systems.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems, including but not limited to: air compressors, heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
- Basic concepts of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and wiring.
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
- Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to perform routine to advanced maintenance.

Pay Rate: The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
