Warehouse in Carlton, Oregon at Carlton Farms

Position Summary: Warehouse workers are responsible for building and shipping orders, receiving product, visual quality checks on product and keeping the production room cooler full of product to run.

Responsibilities:

• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

• Complete diary logs into inventory

• Report any discrepancies

• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse equipment such as, pallet jacks nad forklifts.

• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Physical Demands:

• May be required to stand for long periods of time

• May involve some repetitive motions

• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds

• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers

• Do to the open environment of the warehouse and production room, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme cold

Requirements:

• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions

• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization

• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products

• Maintain the production pace of other team members

• Utilize power tools and various equipment needed to perform duties
