Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise shop personnel.
  • Establish and maintain standardized warehouse procedures that promote organization, accountability, and efficiency.
  • Lead coordination of warehouse activities to ensure materials and equipment are ready to support field construction operations.
  • Promote safe work practices and a culture of continuous improvement within the warehouse and shop.
  • Provide proactive problem-solving to support changing project needs and schedules.
  • Coordinate fabrication or modification of steel form components and related hardware.
  • Maintain an organized, safe warehouse and shop environment.
  • Stage materials and equipment for shipment to active projects.
  • Develop delivery schedules aligned with construction timelines and track shipments to prevent delays.
  • Maintain tracking systems using Excel or similar tools for inventory, shipping schedules, and material planning.
  • Manage storage, maintenance, and inventory of steel shaft wall forming systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials moving to and from projects.
  • Coordinate with Accounting to track inventory usage and project allocations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Required

  • Experience in warehouse management, construction logistics, fabrication operations, or shop supervision
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Experience coordinating trucking and logistics for construction materials or equipment
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate shop personnel
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support field construction teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar inventory tracking systems

Preferred

  • Experience working with steel fabrication or formwork systems
  • Experience coordinating inventory with accounting or ERP systems
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience maintaining construction equipment
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings or construction plans

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a warehouse and shop environment
  • Ability to lift and move materials and equipment, up to 50 lbs, as needed
  • Occasional travel or coordination outside normal working hours may be required to support project demands
