Extrusion Supervisor- 2nd Shift at TORSION GROUP CORP – Evansville, Indiana

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations and managing departmental team members during their assigned shift. This role places a strong emphasis on quality control, productivity, and ensuring Packers and Operators remain on task. The Shift Supervisor serves as a hands-on leader, actively supporting production while guiding and developing the hourly team.

Seasoned level position of experience in production environment managing a small team of 15-20 direct reports.

In-depth knowledge of Supervising production operations.

Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite; data entry (SAP).

Supervisory and leadership skills.

Physical stamina and agility to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to be on your feet for 8 hr shifts.

Ability to use hand tools for measurements as instructed and trained.

Ability to be on time and prompt for work hours and have a reliable means of transportation.

Must be able to work in a drug and alcohol-free workplace

Ability to use hand tools and operate a forklift

Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Plant working conditions: Occasionally subject to hazardous conditions

Ability to see, communicate, hear, and utilize electronic communication devices.
