About This Position
Description:
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and strengths of youth and families
- Develop Individualized Plans that address clients’ specific goals, challenges, and circumstances
- Offer guidance, counseling, and support to youth and families in navigating challenges
- Connect clients with community resources including, but not limited to, educational programs, mental health services, and housing and living support
- Regularly review and update case plans, tracking progress towards goals and adjusting services as needed
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, referrals, assessments, and progress reports in compliance with agency standards
- Work closely with program leaders to coordinate services and support for clients, school officials, and other external agencies
- Assist program staff with general classroom/program management including, but not limited to, activity implementation, student behavior, and general worksite safety
- Adhere to standard operating procedures related to childcare as prescribed by the agency and external governing bodies
- Perform special duties, as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Social Work, Psychology or related field
- Experience working with youth and their families in a case management or direct service role
- Works independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Knowledge of community resources and service systems related to youth and their families
- Bilingual: Spanish and/or Haitian Creole (preferred)
- Works effectively in a wide range of professional settings
- Firm knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers an annual salary between $45,500 and $47,000, depending on experience. Following a satisfactory ninety(90)-day probationary period, the company provides full medical and dental insurance for the employee as well as paid vacation days and a flexible work schedule.
