Join a cutting-edge team driving the AI and liquid cooling revolution. As a skilled Rack Assembly Technician, you’ll be instrumental in building and cabling custom server racks that power next-generation data centers. Responsibilities include installing and cabling high-performance hardware from top vendors such as Dell, Cisco, SuperMicro, Nvidia, and others. Technicians are required to follow build documentation and their own technical judgment to construct each rack, execute clean and efficient cabling, and ensure the final product meets all quality standards.
Duties/Responsibilities- Install hardware and cable server racks using build documentation, including elevation diagrams and cable plans with direction from Level 2 & 3 technicians.
- Perform basic visual inspections on components and materials to identify defects before installation.
- Interpret basic Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Sales Orders with guidance.
- Execute routine, low‑complexity builds under direct supervision.
- Escalate build issues, discrepancies, or material shortages to Level 2 & 3 technicians, or your supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, completing daily housekeeping and 5S duties.
- Accurately record completed tasks and report any deviations or non‑conformances.
- Demonstrate initiative in learning assembly processes and improving build quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
- Basic computer skills
- Two to three years of experience in an electronics manufacturing facility.
- Moderate MS Excel knowledge
- Experience with computer hardware and cabling
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365.
- Works well with others and demonstrates a great work ethic.
- Can work and train in all subsequent Assembly Work Centers.
- Detail and process oriented.
- Must be able to work additional hours and weekends when required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
