You will be responsible for optimizing platform performance, driving revenue growth, and shaping marketplace strategy while ensuring compliance in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Accountabilities:- Develop and execute eCommerce marketplace strategies to maintain and expand consumer access in regulated markets.
- Navigate complex state-by-state regulations, identifying legal workarounds and scaling compliant solutions.
- Manage and grow strategic partnerships with third-party platforms such as GoPuff and DoorDash, optimizing assortment, promotions, and customer experience.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align marketplace initiatives with broader market strategies and ensure seamless fulfillment.
- Monitor platform performance, provide regular updates, and deliver strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Analyze competitive trends and regulatory changes to inform innovation and continuous improvement in marketplace models.
- Lead testing and iteration of new eCommerce approaches, ensuring scalable, compliant, and revenue-driving outcomes.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital commerce, or marketplace management, with at least 2 years in a lead capacity.
- 2+ years of experience in regulated industries (alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, or D9 THC) with practical understanding of compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience managing third-party eCommerce platforms or retail partnerships (GoPuff, DoorDash, Instacart, Minibar, Amazon, etc.).
- Strong commercial skills, including pricing, promotions, margin management, and state-level compliance considerations.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for pricing, catalog, and performance reporting.
- Strategic problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate regulatory complexity and ambiguity.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
- Nice-to-haves: familiarity with beverage distribution models, post-sale SaaS experience, analytics tools, and presenting commercial performance insights to leadership.
