Position Overview

The Law Offices of James L. Arrasmith is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily in-office operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the office runs efficiently, managing front-office staff, handling administrative functions, and maintaining compliance with firm policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment
Hire, train, and manage in-office receptionists and front desk staff
Supervise and provide ongoing support, performance management, and training for receptionists
  • Coordinate and manage incoming and outgoing mail, including legal correspondence and sensitive documents
  • Ensure proper handling, organization, and distribution of all physical documents
Manage office inventory, including ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment
Maintain office organization, cleanliness, and overall workspace functionality
Develop and implement office procedures and best practices
  • Ensure the office operates in compliance with internal policies and applicable legal/regulatory requirements
  • Assist with onboarding and training of in-office staff
  • Serve as a point of contact for administrative issues and office-related needs
  • Coordinate with attorneys and staff to support workflow and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in office management, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including hiring and supervising staff
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience managing administrative/front desk teams
  • Familiarity with handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems

Work Environment
