Position Purpose:
Warehouse Operations & Leadership
- Lead and manage all warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, inventory control, and shipping
- Uphold the highest safety standards in alignment with the P&H Safety Action Plan
- Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse team members; provide performance feedback and training
- Ensure products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time using established systems and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely when required
Inventory & Systems Management
- Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, stock rotation, and discrepancy resolution
- Monitor purchase orders, transfers, and receiving activity to ensure timely and accurate processing
- Work with the Branch Manager to research inventory variances and manage RTVs
- Use barcode scanning systems and warehouse technology to maintain data accuracy
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, workflows, and space utilization
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and error reduction
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies to warehouse operations
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Support change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new processes and tools
Customer & Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with branch leadership to support customer service goals and branch profitability
- Interact with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction and resolve operational issues
- Collaborate with other departments to support smooth branch operations

Requirements:Experience, Education & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or operations leadership
- Demonstrated experience improving operational processes, workflows, or efficiency
- Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement training or certification preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Experience with inventory management systems, ERP/WMS platforms, and warehouse technology
- Results-driven with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands and fingers for warehouse and computer work
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed
- Moderate physical activity in a warehouse environment
