Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring parts are made to customer prints and specifications by monitoring CNC Laser equipment, performing quality inspections and correcting machine issues that affect the quality of the parts with direction from Leads and Senior Operators.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate industrial tube laser cutting machine
• Monitor machine efficiency and ensure all equipment is operational
• Perform in process inspections on parts
• Sort and package product into boxes
• Discard non-conforming product and handle according to policy
• Stock machine with raw materials
• Perform adjustments to meet qualify specifications
• Complete daily production records and logs
• Follow all health & safety standards

Position Requirements:

• Good mechanical aptitude – manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Experience in the use of standard shop tools and inspection measuring tools, such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read blueprints/ shop drawings is a plus.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout work schedule, 6-8 hours per day.
• Ability to regularly maneuver up to 50 pounds.
