The Monarch San Antonio – A Legacy of Service and Sophistication
The Monarch San Antonio, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, is a 200-room, 17-story boutique hotel located in the Hemisfair District of downtown San Antonio. It is set to open in early 2026 and is inspired by the Monarch butterfly that migrates through the region each winter. The hotel will feature a full-service spa, a terrace pool, and five food and beverage concepts, including a rooftop restaurant and bar.

Position Overview
Bell Attendants play a key role in creating an exceptional first and last impression for guests. This position delivers personalized, anticipatory service by assisting with luggage, escorting guests, and providing knowledgeable guidance throughout the hotel, while upholding the highest luxury hospitality standards.
What You'll Do
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with luggage handling, storage, and delivery to guest rooms.
- Escort guests to rooms and explain room features, hotel amenities, and services.
- Offer proactive assistance, directions, and local recommendations.
- Recognize VIPs, repeat guests, and special requests to deliver personalized service.
Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate arrivals and departures with Front Office, Valet, and Concierge teams.
- Maintain accurate luggage logs and organization of storage areas.
- Deliver guest items, packages, and special amenities promptly and discreetly.
- Support in-room requests and guest service calls as needed.
- Maintain flexibility to work peak arrival and departure times.
Professionalism & Brand Standards
- Maintain impeccable grooming, uniform standards, and professional demeanor.
- Uphold five-star service standards and hotel policies at all times.
- Protect guest privacy, security, and confidentiality.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety procedures when handling luggage and equipment.
- Use bell carts properly and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
- Report safety concerns, lost and found items, or guest incidents immediately.
What You'll Bring
Required Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Previous bell, concierge, or luxury hospitality experience preferred.
- Knowledge of hotel amenities and local area attractions preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
