Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist in developing and modifying treatment strategies based on client needs
- Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for clients during sessions
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and families regarding progress and concerns
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid and active RBT certification/license
- Ability to work 30 hours per week
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and documentation procedures
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges is preferred
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various hours if needed

Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active RBT certification through the BACB
(or completion of 40-hour training and enrolled to test within 60 days of hire)
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and fingerprinting, per state requirements
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and participate in physical activities with clients
Certifications & Training
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (must remain current)
- BLS certification preferred — must obtain within 60 days if not already certified
- Completion of ongoing RBT supervision requirements (per BACB standards)
- Annual competency assessments and continuing education as required
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a clinic environment
- Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs as written by the BCBA
- Collect accurate, real-time data using electronic data systems
- Assist with the generalization of skills during play-based and structured activities
- Support parent training sessions with professionalism and clear communication
- Participate in staff meetings, team collaboration, and required training
- Maintain confidentiality, ethics, and professional boundaries at all times

- Work with individuals who may demonstrate challenging behaviors (aggression, elopement, self-injury)
