Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Healthcare Recruiter specializing in sourcing caregivers for Kentucky's Home and Community Based (HCB) Waiver programs. This is not just recruitment, it is mission-critical talent acquisition that directly impacts the quality-of-care vulnerable adults receive in their homes and communities.
Compensation: This is a full-time, 40-hour in-office position with an hourly pay range of $18.00 to $23.00, based on experience and proven success in recruiting caregivers for Kentucky's Home and Community Based (HCB) Waiver and related Medicaid programs. Experience in healthcare recruiting and caregiver sourcing for waiver services is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.

What You'll Do
Source & Recruit HCB Waiver Caregivers
Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies specifically for home care and community-based caregiver positions.
Source qualified candidates through job boards (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Paychex), social media, community partnerships, and networking.
Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for Direct Support Professionals, Personal Care Attendants, and HCB Waiver caregivers.
Screen candidates for qualifications, experience, cultural fit, and alignment with Golden Rule values.
Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess caregiver competencies and commitment to person-centered care.
Coordinate with hiring managers to understand specific position needs and ideal candidate profiles.
Manage End-to-End Recruitment Process
Create compelling job postings that attract qualified caregivers and reflect organizational mission.
Manage applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms (Paychex, indeed, ZipRecruiter)
Schedule interviews, coordinate pre-employment screenings (background checks, drug screens, TB tests)
Extend offers and guide candidates through onboarding documentation within required timelines.
Maintain accurate recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, retention rates)
Build relationships with candidates to create positive recruitment experience aligned with Golden Rule principles.
Strategic Talent Acquisition
Partner with leadership to forecast staffing needs and proactively build talent pipelines.
Establish community partnerships with vocational programs, workforce development agencies, and healthcare training institutions.
Stay current on caregiver labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive landscape.
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate quality.
Represent Golden Years ADHC at job fairs, community events, and networking opportunities.
The Work Environment
Office-Based Position: Full 40 hours per week at our Edmonton, KY location
Schedule: Standard business hours Monday–Friday with occasional flexibility for recruitment events

Location Preference
We strongly prefer candidates to reside in Metcalfe County or the six bordering counties:
Metcalfe County (Edmonton base)
Hart County (northwest)
Green County (northeast)
Adair County (east)
Cumberland County (southeast)
Monroe County (south)
Barren County (west)
Local knowledge strengthens community connections and enables effective caregiver sourcing in south-central Kentucky.

Non-Negotiable Requirements
Proven recruiting experience – Demonstrated success in healthcare recruiting, specifically sourcing caregivers, Direct Support Professionals, or home health staff.
HCB Waiver knowledge – Understanding of Home and Community Based Waiver programs, caregiver roles, and Kentucky Medicaid requirements.
Recruiting platform expertise – Hands-on experience with Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Paychex, or similar applicant tracking systems
Full-cycle recruitment – End-to-end experience from sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding
Results orientation – Track record of meeting hiring goals and filling hard-to-fill positions.
Essential Skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple requisitions and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
Proactive sourcing skills with creativity in finding passive candidates.
Assessment capabilities to evaluate cultural fit and alignment with mission-driven values.
Technology proficiency with ATS platforms, job boards, and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of pre-employment screening requirements (background checks, drug testing, credentialing)
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership team.
