Scope of Position:
The Sales Representative – Premium Packaging Solutions will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, understanding customers’ needs and providing customized solutions. The Sales Representative – Premium Packaging Solutions will also build relationships with clients, negotiate agreements, and drive revenue growth for our premium packaging solutions, while maintaining deep industry knowledge and the drive to exceed sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads in target industries such as cosmetics, jewelry, electronics, fashion, wine & spirits, and high-end consumer goods
- Generate qualified leads through networking, cold outreach, industry events, and digital/social platforms
- Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs
- Build long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster repeat business
- Maintain overall responsibility for assigned customer relationships and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely communication regarding orders, production status, and delivery timelines
- Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints or quality concerns in collaboration with quality and cross functional teams
- Submit orders and job specifications through established internal systems and processes to ensure accurate production scheduling
- Adhere to all internal procedures related to job entry, scheduling, quality control, and customer issue resolution
- Understand and analyze customer requirements to provide custom packaging solutions
- Prepare quotes for estimating, negotiate pricing, and finalize agreements in collaboration with production and finance teams
- Track and report on margins, pricing trends, and cost fluctuations relevant to rigid box materials
- Coordinate with design, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of orders
- Report sales metrics, forecasts, and pipeline activity to senior management
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market opportunities
- Perform any other duties as required
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the premium packaging or print/box manufacturing industries
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel to client locations, trade shows, and company facilities as needed
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications
- Experience in rigid box, set-up box, or premium paperboard packaging
- Understanding of production processes, materials, and sustainability trends in rigid box packaging
