This role offers a strategic leadership opportunity to manage the end-to-end succession and sale of physician practices. You will guide retiring physicians through smooth transitions while ensuring continuity of patient care and business success. The position requires cross-functional collaboration to align teams, develop comprehensive succession strategies, and oversee complex transactions from due diligence to contract execution. You will analyze financials, operational risks, and legal considerations, providing actionable insights to support decision-making. - Oversee the full lifecycle of physician practice succession, ensuring timely execution and alignment across departments.
- Act as a liaison between retiring physicians and prospective buyers, facilitating smooth practice sale transactions.
- Conduct detailed due diligence on practices, including financial performance, operational risks, and contractual obligations.
- Negotiate physician contracts, present legal documentation, and provide critical business intelligence to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement succession strategies that maximize patient retention and support organizational goals.
- Track and manage project milestones and deadlines, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across sales, recruitment, and operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field required.
- Minimum of six years of experience in healthcare account management, practice brokerage, physician recruitment, or healthcare business development.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with a track record of meeting deadlines and driving results.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience analyzing practice financials, contracts, and operational data.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute business plans supporting growth and retention.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
