Insulator at PALACIOS MARINE INDUSTRIAL COATINGS – Cherokee, Alabama

We are currently seeking an experienced Insulator to join our team in Cherokee, AL. This position is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining insulation systems in an industrial plant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and remove insulation on piping, vessels, tanks, and equipment
• Measure, cut, and install metal jacketing and bands
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
• Fabricate and install sheet metal components as needed
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Prior industrial insulation experience required
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Familiarity with plant safety requirements
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass site safety requirements (if applicable)

Work Details:

• 40 hours per week
• No per diem offered
• Overtime may be available based on project needs
