About This Position
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe handling of inventory. This role includes receiving, shipping, inventory control, safety compliance, and general operational support. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.

Core Responsibilities
Inventory Control (70 %)
• Perform routine cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits.
• Investigate inventory variances and correct system discrepancies.
• Maintain organized storage locations and ensure proper material flow.
Receiving (20%)
• Receive, inspect, and process inbound and excess shipments.
• Verify shipments for accuracy, including part numbers, quantities, and labeling.
• Accurately record inventory transactions and movements in the warehouse management system.
• Identify, research, and resolve receiving discrepancies using independent judgment.
Shipping (10%)
• Pick, verify, and stage materials to support timely order fulfillment.
• Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
• Prepare outbound shipments and complete required documentation.
• Coordinate carrier pickups and perform drop-offs as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support logistical expediting of urgent or priority orders.
Safety & Area Maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Support area beautification, housekeeping, and workspace organization initiatives.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Report unsafe conditions and actively participate in safety improvement efforts.
Miscellaneous & Special Projects
• Assist with operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support cross-functional activities and provide backup assistance as needed.
Requirements:Essential Functions
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, epickers and packing tools. (Forklift operation if applicable.)
• Accurately read labels, pick lists, and shipping documents.
• Pick, Pack and ship parts as directed by the process flow.
• Document condition of inbound, and outbound shipments
• Enter data into inventory management systems with speed and accuracy.
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.
• Communicate effectively as needed with mail carriers, sales and purchasing teams
• Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse manager
• Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse
• Monitor active purchase orders/shipments to make sure that orders are completed on time
• Load and Unload merchandise as needed.

• Previous Inventory Management experience
Physical Requirements:
This job may require long periods of standing and to work in non-climate controlled warehouse. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight, to retrieve packages from racking 20+ FT off the ground with proper equipment; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Candidate must be able to see in the normal visual range with or without correction and to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
