Physical Therapy Assistant - Courtland Terrace at CaroMont Health – Gastonia, North Carolina

Job Summary: To conduct general activity programs and assist in implementing specific treatment/patient care programs for patients and patient groups following initial evaluation by the appropriate therapist.

Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from a recognized college or university. North Carolina state PTA license required : No prior work experience required. Knowledge of physical therapy terminology, procedures and techniques. Considerable skill in performing physical therapy procedures. Thorough ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians and hospital personnel. Judgment is required in working with patients and performing treatments.
