Histology Technologist I PRN

Position Highlights:
• Work location: 201 Walls Dr. Cleburne, TX 76031
• Work hours: PRN - Day Shift

Here's What You Need
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
• Associate degree preferred
• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory, histology laboratory or gross setting preferred.
• 6 months' experience in pathology specimen receipt, processing, and handling. Specialized tissue handling, and assisting pathologists with gross, tissue preparation, and bone marrows are highly preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is highly preferred for this position. Phlebotomy duties will be performed on a daily basis.

Follows laboratory procedure for specimen collection, handling, and processing.
• Specimen Integrity
• Gross Room
• Frozen Section
• Test Procedures
• Microtomy
• Preparation of Slides and Stains
• Evaluate stains
• Cytology Specimens
• Reference Lab
• Laboratory Operations
• Safety
