About This Position
Position Description:
Are you skilled in accounting and financial operations, with a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for an Assistant Business Manager to support the financial health of our site. In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day business office functions, oversee reporting and compliance, and ensure smooth operations that directly support our staff and the individuals we serve.
What You’ll Do Oversee accounting functions including cash control, funds disbursement, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for the site. Ensure accurate bank deposits, reconciliations, and fund management (petty cash, commissary, and patient welfare). Support and supervise business office staff with training and guidance. Cross-train in accounts payable, payroll, billing, and purchasing to provide coverage when needed. Maintain fixed asset records, tagging new assets and updating inventory records. Serve as acting Business Manager during absences to ensure site operations remain uninterrupted. Ensure compliance with all company, client, and accreditation financial policies. What We’re Looking ForEducation Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline (required). Experience 3 years of experience in a financial or related role (required). Supervisory experience and working knowledge of accounting practices and procedures (required). Experience with accounting software packages and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required).
