General

Works with Quality to assist managing new product requirements; in order to achieve customer satisfaction.Support in defining the attributes of product quality (acceptance and rejection criteria) and specifications, support in defining product performance indicators.Manages the operation of the technical interface of production processes and products throughout the company, product improvement and problem solving.Runs practices and procedures established for their job.Support Quality systems within the current ISO standards, this involves ensuring all operational procedures are maintained and updated as needed.Responsible for meeting the safety standards of his department, and the use of protective equipment according to the basic table in the area.Participates in training programs, safety and technical courses at the times set by the company.Production Reporting

Review and correct production data errors as required this includes inputs/outputs, scrap and consumptions, to ensure accuracy.Manage and ensure production and downtime systems are updated and are accurate daily Inform management when necessary, regarding significant deficiencies.Performance and Cost Controls

Attend daily Disposition Meeting with Quality to help resolve Hold coilsWork with the team to properly disposition coils as needed; work with the team to identify root cause along with detecting and origin areas for rejections.Inspect the rework coils on the Slitter as needed.Work with the Area Manager and Supervisors to identify and implement changes necessary to improve performance on the line.Work with the Area Manager and Supervisors to identify and initiate cost-saving measures on the line.Quality

Obtain samples and production records of coils that are claimed.Work with Quality to define proper disposition of material. Review and manage rework and rejects, opportunities to reapply material.Work with Quality to identify root cause along with detecting and origin department for rejections. And corrective actionMaintain accurate paint specification data according to vendor data sheets.Metrology

Ensure all lab equipment and measuring equipment related to production are managed and in line with ISO Metrology STD-T.I.M.E.Schedule calibration and repair for the T.I.M.E. items of the line as needed.Ensure T.I.M.E. and T.I.R.E. items of the line possess the correct identification and are placed in the correct area.Monitor inventory of the T.I.M.E. and T.I.R.E. items of the line; order additional items as needed.Purchasing and Vendor Management

Create purchase orders, purchase requisitions, for all variable and general expense items for the line.Report any vendor compliance (quality or delivery performance) issues to Exiros. Work with the vendor to resolve.Work with Exiros (Procurement Team), ensuring vendor contracts are funded.Consumption

Perform any missed consumptions of variable expense items used by the line in SAP. Ensure inventory of the line’s variable expense items is accurate. Make adjustments in SAP as needed.Back-up

Perform necessary job functions of the other lines in the facilities in the absence of other TA, Manager, Supervisor or Coordinator. Responsible to participate in closing each calendar month as it relates to production and consumptions.

4. Background Requirements:

a. Education or Level of Education: Minimum level of formal education required for the position

General: GED or High School Diploma required.

Secondary/University: Preferred
