Base Location: Providence, KY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (40 hours per week)
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the daily operations of our Human Resources department. This role works closely with the HR Director to provide administrative and clerical support while ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism in all HR functions.

The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department by handling administrative tasks, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate documentation and supporting a positive employee experience.
Essential ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
- Support hiring processes such as background checks, drug screens, and credential verification.
- Assist with and/or conduct new hire orientation.
Administrative Support
- Provide clerical support to the HR department, including answering phones and handling employment verification requests.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and HR-related materials.
- Assist in coordinating HR-related events such as trainings, wellness programs, and enrollment activities.
Employee Records & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (electronic and hard copy), including FMLA, payroll, attendance, and credentialing documentation.
- Update and maintain HR systems, portals, and documentation.
- Respond to routine employee and applicant inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and processes, escalating as needed.
Additional Support
- Assist with payroll-related tasks, including answering employee questions and resolving processing issues.
- Support meetings, recruiting events, and educational outreach efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational needs.

Requirements:EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Associate degree in Business Administration or a health-related field preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing HR and/or payroll-related functions in a medical setting preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with Electronic Medical Records (e.g., eClinicalWorks) is a plus.
Candidates must demonstrate strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities, along with a clear understanding of confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace. Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to submit a background check and oral drug screen.
