About This Position
The Pizza Cook I supports pizza production by preparing dough/patting,according to established recipes and quality standards. This entry-level role focuses on consistency, speed, and food safety while building foundational pizza-making skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Pizza Preparation – Entry Level
- Prepare and portion pizza dough according to specifications.
- Pat pizzas accurately and consistently.
- Follow recipe standards for sauce amounts and coverage.
- Stage prepared pizzas for next production step.
Kitchen Operations & Sanitation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen-awareness procedures.
- Assist with restocking ingredients and rotating product as directed.
- Support team members during peak service as needed.

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Entry-level kitchen experience preferred but not required.
· Allergen Awareness Certification required (or ability to obtain).
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow direction.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position requires prolonged standing, frequent use of hands and arms, bending, and reaching. Employees must occasionally lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. The work environment includes moderate noise levels, temperature variations, and exposure to kitchen equipment. Reasonable accommodation may be made in accordance with the ADA.
