Desktop Support Analyst II

Under general directions, it provides second-tier support to end users for either PC, server, or EMR applications. Handles problems and insures that the first-tier of help desk support is unable to resolve them. May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or application development to restore services and/or to solve operating difficulties. Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. Maintains currency and the highest level of technical skill in the field of expertise.

Description of specific duties on a typical workday for this position:

  • Answer phones at the help desk
  • Manage help desk tickets
  • Resolve IT help desk tickets with customers both on site and off site
  • Work with sys and network admins

Position Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and good organization skills to balance and prioritize work, and multitask
  • Good communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers
  • Image computer systems using SCCM
  • Update Security and other out-of-hand patches to computer systems
  • Support MDM solutions and configurations
  • Troubleshoot any computers, printers or mobile wheel devices WOW.
  • Knowledge on End User Computing Devices (Laptop / Desktop / VDI)
  • Expertise on Windows 7/ 10 administration
  • Good troubleshooting skills on MS Office, O365, Internet Explorer and other operating systems-related issues
  • Knowledge of PC and peripheral Hardware troubleshooting (including print & scanning devices)
  • Hands-on Experience on MS Office upgrades / deployments
  • Working knowledge on Lenovo laptops/Desktops hardware issues
  • Troubleshooting of Office 2016 issues
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting VPN related issues
  • Mobile Device Management support
  • Experience on Windows Imaging process using SCCM
  • Experience on Data Migration tools and O365 One drive
  • Basic knowledge on windows server operating system, DNS and DHCP
  • Basic knowledge on Switches and Routers
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting many departments
  • Advanced experience in Office 365
  • Active Directory
  • Familiarity with SCCM tools

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Associates Degree , BS Preferred.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 -year experience

CERTIFICATES: Security +, A+ Preferred.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Excellent communication skills
