PATIENT SAFETY ASSISTANT HCH Bilingual Preferred at Sinai Chicago – Chicago, Illinois

The Patient Safety Assistant is responsible for providing direct supervision and companionship to patients as a safety measure to prevent suicidal, behavioral, and medical patients from harming themselves.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and assigned patient.
• Must demonstrate calm, pleasant demeanor.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES,

REGISTRATIONS: PREFERRED CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT, PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN, OR RELATED HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE

• BLS
• CPI TRAINED

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 1 year acute hospital /healthcare setting experience. Must be able to complete training module prior to first assignment.
