Facility Services - Custodial Staff at The Young Men's Christian Association of Stevens – Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Pay: $9.50/hour

The most immediate impression of the Y is based on the cleanliness of our facility. Responsibilities for this position include deep cleaning all areas of the facility, shampooing carpets, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing toilets and sinks, steam cleaning showers, and trash disposal. Typical schedule consists of weekday evenings and rotating weekend day shifts.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in a commercial cleaning environment or closely-related field preferred.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work without direct supervision.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull a minimum of 10lbs frequently throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to reach forward and overhead, bend, and stoop frequently throughout the shift.
