Patient Care Assistant/Unit Secretary at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall – Newburgh, New York

Pay Rate: $20.03 per hour

Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care tasks to promote unit organization and smooth function under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager. Functions as a PCA and Unit Secretary.

Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent; Ability to read, write and communicate in English; Successful completion of Nurses Aide Program (or equivalent preparation)

Experience: Knowledge of medical terminology; prior experience is preferred as PCA/US

Licensure, Registration or Certification: Current Nurse Assistant certification (or the equivalent)required. Must complete Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training on a bi-annual basis
