Skilled Maintenance I at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital – Clinton, Missouri

This position is under the direct supervision of the Engineering Director. The skilled maintenance I position is for an individual that has above average working knowledge and hands on experience of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, commercial maintenance or construction. This person will be completing task such as building furniture, moving furniture, learning about the different trades from their skilled II co-workers as they work on project, dry wall, painting, hanging wall signage, recording in log books and any other task that the Engineering Director may delegate. Shift hours are set, but may vary occasionally depending on circumstances such as snow removal, meeting an outside contractor, covering a vacancy in the schedule, completing a job at a time that is least disruptive to patients and emergency situations.

Requirements:
High School or equivalent (GED)
Able to lift 100 lbs.
Able to work evenings, nights, or weekends to complete jobs
Scheduled two weekends a month
Detail oriented
Drywall repair/patching/caulking desired
Interior painting
General carpentry - Rough and finish
Computer experience a plus

*Shift: 9:30pm to 8:00am (Thursday-Sunday)

*Starting Range: $18.29-$20.12
