ED Clinical Host at tgmctest – HOUMA, Louisiana

A person who assists both the family and visitors of patients in the Emergency Department as well as the nurses, to coordinate services and provide a conduit of flow of information and personal contact between medical personnel, families and visitors. Performs various nonprofessional services or procedures necessary to keep the patient status updated and patient as comfortable as possible while waiting to access care. Notices changes in patient conditions and notifies appropriate personnel timely.

Qualifications: Ability to read, and write and have basic computer skills preferred. Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills and ability to de-escalate situations effectively preferred. Pleasant, compassionate and approachability preferred. Ability to speak to a large group of people comfortably preferred.
