About This Position

Jetaire Flight Systems (JFS) is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved Design Approval Holder (DAH) with Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) providing high-reliability electronic hardware and systems support where critical functions, durability, and peak performance are vital. We provide services to military, commercial, aerospace, and space industries. Headquartered in Fayetteville, GA with offices in global in reach, our dedicated employees provide over 150 value-added technical and engineering solutions with service to customers in 64+ countries. Through our in-house DER staff, Jetaire provides complete avionics modification services including engineering, design, manufacturing, integration and certification, supplemental type certificate development, FAA certification assistance, and regulatory consulting services for both in-house programs and contract directly to OEMs and aircraft owners and operators.

Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Quality Engineer to help us maintain top-tier safety, reliability, and performance across our aviation products and processes. In this role, you will lead quality system improvements, support continuous improvement initiatives, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to uphold world class standards.

This isn’t just about compliance; it’s about innovation. You’ll help us push boundaries, optimize processes, and deliver solutions that inspire confidence in customers and regulators alike.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Champion quality standards across engineering and manufacturing operations.
• Lead the development and maintenance of quality compliant systems.
• Design and document quality assurance processes that set the benchmark for excellence.
• Audit, monitor, and improve systems to ensure flawless execution.
• Investigate issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with suppliers, auditors and cross-functional teams to uphold world-class standards.
• Analyze customer feedback and translate insights into product enhancements.
• Stay ahead of evolving FAA and global regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Controls.
• Present quality performance insights into leadership, influencing strategic decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in quality systems, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality, engineering, or manufacturing (aviation/aerospace preferred).
• ASQ, CSTE, or similar quality certifications a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and cross functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with statistical analysis, coding, and technical documentation.
• Proactive, detail oriented, and able to lead projects independently.
*Must be able to work 100% onsite (Fayetteville, GA) in an environment with limited temperate control.
