TMA Driver / Flagger in Port Lavaca, Texas at Blue Chip Services LLC

We are looking for hard working and reliable candidates that have experience and knowledge in Traffic Control.
Job Responsibilities:
Complete assigned traffic control tasks which include but are not limited to driving a Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA), cone truck, or other support vehicle to specified locations, assist in setting up/taking down lane closures on state highways or other roadways per TXDOT guidelines to provide protection from traffic. Operate a variety of light and heavy equipment involved in construction and maintenance projects. Performs preventive maintenance inspections, routine servicing on equipment. Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Safety and awareness are very important aspects of this position.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Traffic Control experience and/or operating heavy equipment is PREFERED
• Candidates must possess good knowledge of state and local roadways and have experience with operating large vehicles of varying sizes
• MUST be in good physical condition with the ability to lift/carry a minimum of 40 pounds, and be able to stand for long periods of time outside in high/low temperatures.
• Flagger or TCT certification is a PLUS!
