This role sits within a global loan operations environment supporting complex corporate banking and credit financing activities. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate servicing of credit facilities, including transaction processing, cash movements, and reconciliations across loan accounting systems. The position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial data and ensuring smooth execution of daily operational activities for institutional clients. You will work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where precision, control, and efficiency are critical. The role also involves close collaboration with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial and operational standards. - Review and process loan transactional documentation, including principal, interest, and fee-related entries within the loan accounting system.
- Initiate and manage cash movements through internal transfers, Fed wire, and SWIFT networks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger and demand deposit accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Support day-to-day loan servicing operations for corporate credit facilities, ensuring adherence to internal controls and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of operational workflows and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions and adjustments.
- Contribute to operational efficiency by identifying process gaps and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- 7+ years of experience in loan operations, banking operations, or financial services operations support.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transaction processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Prior experience in banking, lending, or corporate credit environments is highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies accurately.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global, cross-functional environment.
