DSP in Winthrop, Maine at Brighter Heights Maine

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Brighter Heights Maine is looking for engaging and patient DSPs to work in our 3 resident Winthrop home.

We are seeking a DSP to work in our Winthrop home part time. Hours will be evenings during the week and one day time shift on the weekend, most likely Saturday.

Licensure:

An existing DSP Certificate is desired and a Certified Residential Medication Aide Certificate( CRMA) is highly preferred. If needed, we will provide CRMA training at no cost to you.

DSP Responsibilities:

• work with our clients, their families and other service providers to promote independence
• help them develop daily living skills, provide direct care and administer medication if you have your CRMA.
• assist with housekeeping, personal hygiene, transportation, meal prep, grocery shopping,
• take clients into the community for outings.
• always maintain respect for our clients and treat them with dignity

• must have High School Diploma or GED
• One year of experience with adults in a supervised setting
• Must have strong Communication and computer skills
• Must have up to date state mandated immunizations
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
