A powerhouse joint venture between MacBracey Corporation and Arbors Management, Inc., we specialize in delivering high-quality maintenance and construction services tailored to the unique needs of investment property owners.
We aren't just fixing houses; we’re protecting investments and improving the lives of our residents. If you are a skilled trades-person who prides yourself on quality craftsmanship and professional communication, we want you on our team.

The Role: Why You’re Here

As a Property Maintenance Technician, you are the face of our service department. You’ll be responsible for the "boots-on-the-ground" execution of maintenance and construction projects for single-family homes and small multi-unit residential buildings. This isn't just about turning a wrench—it's about problem-solving. We are looking for a self-starter who can diagnose an issue, execute the repair, and use our digital systems to keep the team and the tenant in the loop every step of the way.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Expert Repairs: Tackle unit turnovers, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks with precision.
  • Effective Communication: Act as the bridge between tenants and the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring everyone is updated on work order status.
  • Tech-Savvy Operations: Utilize our software system to track progress and upload documentation (photos/notes) before, during, and after job completion.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a calm, professional demeanor when interacting with residents, even in high-pressure or difficult situations.
  • Schedule Management: Follow the assigned schedule and maintain constant and clear communication with tenants and supervisors.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Building Trades / Maintenance experience.
  • Experience with Building Mechanical Systems.
  • Strong Computer/Internet knowledge.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Personal vehicle should be a truck or van to haul building materials
  • Ability to work well with others and strong attention to detail.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

Qualified individuals should have the ability to handle difficult situations in a calm and professional manner when approached by residents regarding property concerns.

  • Ability to walk properties and conduct physical inspections (climbing stairs, inspecting roofs, and accessing mechanical rooms).
  • Proficiency in working with hand tools and power tools to complete work orders.
Benefits
  • Insurance: Health, Dental, Vision and more
  • Retirement: 401(k) with company matching
  • Time Off: Paid holidays and paid vacation
  • Perks: Paid mileage
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday – Friday (no nights or weekends)
