Job Summary: Work with pastry chef and team of bakers to provide baked goods for two residential dining halls, Catering Department, staff lounge, and student care packages in a timely fashion.

Essential Functions:

1. Following recipes
2. Scaling, mixing, baking and packaging baked goods. Some knowledge of metric and imperial baking measurements.
3. Labeling, dating and storing foods properly.
4. Maintaining correct portion sizes, freshness and quality.
5. Stocking retail space with baked goods and maintain the retail space presentation.
6. Following cleaning schedule as provided by management. Also, utilizing the clean as you go techniques.
7. Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.
8. Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
9. Follow Parkhurst gold standards. Uses smile plus hospitality imperatives.
10. Assist fellow associates at every opportunity.
11. Preform any other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Demands:

• Standing and/or walking 100% of the time
• Occasionally lifting 50lbs
• Frequently lifting up to 20 lbs.

The pay rate for this position is $16.25 / hour with a one dollar increase after 90 days.
