Dispatcher

Valicor Environmental Services is looking for a Dispatcher to work in our Middletown, Ohio (CinDay Road) facility.

Position Summary:

The Dispatcher coordinates drivers and resources for environmental services, focusing on safety, scheduling, and coordination by assigning routes, tracking vehicles, maintaining records, and ensuring DOT/safety compliance, often requiring effective communication and problem-solving capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assign daily routes, manage schedules, and coordinate with drivers/field personnel.
• Coordinate routing to optimize travel time, fuel efficiency, and resource utilization.
• Function as a liaison, taking calls, addressing concerns, and communicating route changes in real-time
• Adjust schedules promptly in response to delays, emergencies, or changing priorities

Qualifications:

• Two years of prior experience working as a dispatcher, preferred
• Experience with dispatching wastewater, environmental services, vacuum trucks or tanker operations, preferred
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and driver hours-of-service, preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Successful candidates must pass the Pre-Screening process if offered this position. This includes a criminal background check and drug screen.
