Promotes and restores patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area; directing and developing staff; demonstrating fiscal responsibility; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff; ensure an environment conducive to patient and family centered care.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or received within 12 months)

Minimum Work Experience

• 2 years

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Registered Nurse
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Knowledgeable of therapeutic equipment
• Excellent human relations, oral/written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong computer skills and ability to input data into computer programs
• Ability to select, train, develop, and supervise human resources
• Ability to improve outcomes through knowledge of quality assessment and performance improvement activities
