Summer Intern at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital – Clinton, Missouri

This is a 10-week paid internship without benefits. This position may be located at the Osceola clinic.

Job Description:
This is a role for an individual with an interest in health and wellness, either nursing or exercise science, who will assist our cardiopulmonary nursing team in providing care and education to our patients. This role may include ambulating patients around the gym, cleaning equipment, assisting patients to and from equipment, assisting patients to and from their vehicles, and clerical tasks, among other duties. Our goal with each patient is to improve their exercise tolerance and endurance and have a positive impact on halting or reversing their disease progression. Applicants must be highly motivated and willing to learn tasks, while completing them somewhat independently.

Education/Credentials:
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
An interest in Nursing or Exercise Science is preferred.
