Saw Cut Operator at Double E Company – West Bridgewater, Massachusetts

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate all automatic horizontal band saws.
• Operate Gun Drill
• Perform cycle counting as required
• Receive material into facility and load on to racks
• Cut and deliver product to work stations as required
• Maintain inventory of metal bars and notifies purchasing when to restock.
• Assist in Shipping as necessary
• Maintain a clean work area

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments helpful.
• Team player and very energetic willing to help when needed.
• Basic understanding and ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be detail oriented.
• Skilled in operation of band saws
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems helpful but will train
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with multiple departments
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a machine shop environment of up to 2-4 years
