REP, IMAGING SUPPORT at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center – POMONA, California

Position Summary: Greets patients and visitors to determine their needs. Interprets radiology exam orders. Interacts with patients, physicians and their staff to assist in registration and scheduling needs. Establishes patient record with demographic and financial information, identifies insurance codes, obtains authorizations and advises patients of co-pays. Collects patient co-payments. Follows all registration, scheduling and money collection protocols. May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications: [Required] High school diploma or equivalent. Clerical work experience; effective oral and interpersonal communication skills; computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Registration and scheduling experience in a hospital environment. Working knowledge of medical terminology.

Salary Range: $21.11 - $29.70 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
