About This Position

Description:

JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, multipoint inspections, and recommending additional services to ensure the efficient operation and longevity of customer vehicles.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform oil changes and other routine maintenance services on vehicles following dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Complete tire service (including rotation, balance and installation), fluid top-offs, and filter replacements.
  • Assist automotive technicians with service tasks, including vehicle inspections and repairs, as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and dealership standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Document all services performed on vehicles accurately in system.
  • Take photos of vehicles and be able to recommend additional services.
  • Ensure current kia updates are installed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service bay and work areas.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and service advisors to ensure timely completion of services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries professionally and promptly.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in automotive maintenance or related field is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Dealertrack and Xtime experience is preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and dealership standards.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Gain and maintain certifications for all brand manufacturers relevant to the projects you are working with or on.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
