About This Position

The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing seeks qualified candidates for a Senior Associate Dean for Strategic Operations (faculty position at rank of assistant professor, full-time, non-tenure stream).

The overall function of the Senior Associate Dean for Strategic Operations is to serve as part of the leadership team in the School; is responsible for the administrative and strategic operations for the School; oversees all administrative operations, including budget and finance, grants management, personnel management, and facilities management, without fiduciary responsibilities or authorities; oversees the operations of the Data Analytics Office; oversees all strategic operations, including communications, marketing and recruitment, and admissions; oversees the operations of the Clinical Management Office; and oversees the operations of the Center for Student Success.

Desired Qualifications:

An earned doctorate is required.

Candidates should have a record of collaborative leadership and of successful supervisory responsibility over multiple higher education functions.
