Registered Nurse at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are looking for a bright, energetic nurse RN to work in a busy Internal Medicine Practice at WKP. The clinic will see patients from 18 years old and up. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organizational skills. Attention to detail, flexibility, dependability and having excellent communication skills are required. The RN will need to be familiar with preautherizations, working with insurance companies, and handling referrals. They will assist in answering and returning phone calls, medication management, scheduling tests and procedures. Will perform waived testing in the office, such as strep, COVID, flu test, blood glucose. EKG’s , VS and administration of medication in the office. Hospital and department orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process, as well as training on the enterprise-wide management system. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. An excellent benefit package and salaries are offered.
