Healthcare organizations are ultimately driven by a mission of care and service. They have a distinct culture and approach to meeting the complex and ever-changing needs of the healthcare consumer. Students will examine the culture of healthcare and how it impacts the way organizations and the people working in health care interact. Healthcare organizations will be viewed from the system, community, organization, group, and individual levels. Students will examine and critique organizational behavior and apply theories, frameworks, and concepts to influence behavior in healthcare organizations.

Compensation: $500 - $1,200 per credit. Adjunct faculty pay rates vary, depending on the academic discipline and the course's credit load and level.

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the University community including students, faculty, staff, and administrators
- Ability to adhere to University policies and procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and within FERPA and HIPAA guidelines.
- All new employees must complete the FERPA, Anti-Harassment, and any other required online trainings within 15 days of employment.
- General knowledge of the University’s mission, purpose and goals and the role this position plays in achieving those goals.
