About the Role

We're not looking for the most experienced person in the room. We're looking for the most curious one.

This role is for someone who thinks in systems, moves fast, and treats AI as a first instinct, not a last resort. You'll work across product and engineering, experiment constantly, and help build AI systems that actually work in the real world. Some days you'll be deep in an LLM integration. Others you'll be rethinking how a workflow should behave entirely. That kind of context-switching doesn't throw you off, it's what keeps you engaged.

Responsibilities

• Build and iterate on agentic AI workflows using modern agent frameworks
• Develop agent skills, tools, and guardrails that keep systems reliable
• Integrate with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and optimize how they're used
• Build eval suites to measure quality and catch regressions before they matter
• Rapidly prototype new ideas and test them against reality
• Stay genuinely current with the AI landscape and bring what you learn back to the team

Qualifications

Experience & Skills

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with backend development is a plus
• Exposure to LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and backend architecture basics
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks is a plus
• Basic understanding of relational databases (Postgres) is a plus
• Familiarity with Redis, Docker, or cloud environments is a plus
• A degree in CS or engineering, or a portfolio that makes it irrelevant is a big plus
• Applications must include a personal website, GitHub profile, or portfolio showcasing projects and code samples.
